Il Moro

First they mess up my order and bring me the wrong pizza, then they make me a 1mm thin pizzabottom, almost ransparent, at parts raw (!) pizza in 6 minutes. Taste was good, the waiter was also friendly and apologised for the mistake, thus 2 stars. Morning after eating though I have food poisoning, diarrhea, vomiting etc into the night as well. For some reason this place was recommended by local friends but I can't agree.

My boyfriend and I have been living in Sicily for about two years and we have been to this place many times and I can say hands down that Moro's pizzas are the best I have ever tried. In addition to their delicious pizzas, I highly recommend the focaccia (only available to order) which never disappoints our expectations 😌 Both pizzas and focaccias are excellent, perfectly digestible and with very particular tastes. Prices are appropriate to the quality and quantity of the ingredients used. The place is nice and welcoming, in the winter I recommend booking as the places inside are limited. Really helpful and polite staff. Now our trusted pizzeria, I recommend it! ✨

Tried pizzeria with some friends a couple of days ago. I must say that I was amazed.... I had never been to this pizzeria and I am sure that it will now be a fixed point when I am in the area! The location looks nice and modernized. Ready to order we call a girl (foreigner and I really appreciate it! Because you also give job opportunities to foreign guys. A plus!) and this girl tells me that she cannot take orders because only 1 person who I think was the owner can . But what's the point, sorry? Are there 3 waiters in the ranks doing nothing and then only a poor Christian has to take the orders? But don't you get a hand? Well anyway... After a good 15 minutes a gentleman arrives (I imagine the owner) and takes our orders. After 30 minutes, which are also abundant, we are informed that the pizzas have just been put into the oven. Very honestly I was leaving, but since it was August and there was a lot of customers we avoided it also thanks to the competence and kindness of one waiter in particular. Argentino seems to me to have said that he informed us and filled us with information on the state of the pizza every minute. Really good. Once the pizzas arrived I have to say they were perfect! I personally wanted to try a mortadella and I was very satisfied, even the opinions of others were more or less the same. The Sicilian music that accompanied our meal was also nice. I really liked the whole context in general. Nothing to say.... Really good and worth trying!
